Day 35 – 38: March 18 – 21st, Thelma Visits

Of course, a highlight was having my good friend Cynthia (AKA Thelma) drive down and help me romp around many of the Key West jaunts. We also managed to go out on a “Splash Cindy” before she leaves dingy ride that turned into a whole ordeal. Karron got startled and forgot how to drive and almost drove the dingy into a dock. The night light broke off in the collision and sunk to the bottom. Karron recovered her faculties and churned up bottom to try to shake off the day. Karron finally stopped for the Cindy dingy dip in the water. Cindy gracefully entered the water and climbed back aboard (wink, wink). Now that the mission was accomplished, we tootled back to the marina. Karron, in an effort to recover her ego, dove off the dingy and retrieve the lost light. She could not hold her breath long enough. Thus, Karron asked Cindy for the dingy anchor to weigh her down. She got the light thanks to the extra weight. Diving 101. This recovery was more about her ego than the light.
