There are 100s of boats anchored in the inlet and anchoring in the night at 3:30 am is not something to call fun. Moving and drifting required Sean to put 2 anchors down to secure us. However:
- Karron was not prepared for the Severe storm and 40 MPH winds.
- Boats on moaring balls move all over the place.
- LIttle Pink Sailboats that have been sitting there forever handle storms perfectly.
- 40 MPH beating rain identifies all the little leaks in your boat
- NO room at the Inn. When storms are around for days, people don’t leave.
- We are stuck on anchor for Round 2 of storms tomorrow
- Karron now trusts the anchor after boats around swung close and we powered up for safety – we were fine.
- The Little Pink Boat is my “we are good symbol”. As long as she is off the bow, starboard or stern we are secure!!
