We landed in the other Beaufort after a long day and anchoring just inside the inlet. We and a 1/2 dozen other boats anchored of Fort Macon. It was a nice anchor except for the 5 am Wake call from all the fishing boats going out. They sure rocked.the boat baby.
Another tricky landing that we had to go around for. Mike the owner/dockmaster was an old timer and knew our boat and that we were a “tricky” dock. They handled it perfectly, on first approach all agreed the angle was wrong and so back up and come again. We landed the 2nd time with some pushing and shoving!!!
